The next step is to place your Xbox 360 game into your DVD drive so
that it can be read. Once the Xbox 360 disk is inserted you then
need to launch your CopyThatGame software that will read and
transfer the data to your PC. Now depending on the speed of your CPU
and how much memory your PC has available this part of the process
can take quite a while, even up to 4 hours on a standard PC system.
During this time it may look like your PC has frozen but whatever
you do, don't shut down the software or the PC as it will mean that
you have to start the whole process all over again. You should now
have an ISO file on your PC which is essentially the Xbox 360 game.
Once the files have finished being transferred to your PC you are
ready for the next step. This means that you will have to change the
settings on your software so that it can read ISO file and then burn
it to your blank media. Once you have done this simply insert your
blank disk and then start the software. The whole burning should not
take long at all (again dependant on CPU speed and memory
availability) and there you have it, that is how to backup Xbox 360
games.
